Two of the volumes are letter books written by members of the class of 1898 one year after graduation (1899) and six years after (1904). The third volume is primarily biographical, giving accounts of the members of the class of 1898 from their freshman year (1894) and beyond Haverford College to 1904. Among the students were William Warder Cadbury, Joseph H. Haines, Walter C. Janney, Alfred G. Scattergood, Francis R. Strawbridge and Joseph Wright Taylor.
